Even Deadlier Cover Illustration (man engulfed in anthropomorphised flames) I loved the way the first cover turned out (for "The 7 Deadly Sins Sampler"), and since this volume was going to be packaged with the first in a set, I wanted this one to be similar in theme. So most of the ideas had figures representing the sins again. In college, I did a huge painting (probably 6' tall) of a 'descent into hell' (I think I was rather fond of Bosch at the time, as are many teenagers!); and so I was pushing the idea that they eventually chose. I like having an upside-down figure, it's so innately disturbing to put the head at the bottom of the page, and the feet at the top.
