"Investors oblivious to continuing risks of credit crunch worries some analysts" I became re-acquainted with The Tribune when I visited Chicago last summer. For this Third Quarter business section cover, they wanted an illustration to convey how out of control the economy was: the housing market, the stock market, consumer debt, etc. All at once! I came up with a lot of ideas, but the crazy car won out, and I love it. The central figure in the top hat came to me in a dream... I wish I could dream illustration solutions more often!
